Ever since its first edition in 1997, the "International Meetings in Cinema, Television, Vídeo and Multimédia – AVANCA’11", now with an approaching 16th edition, has steadily grown in audience and film numbers. These 15 years have also allowed Avanca to become the largest workshop space in audiovisuals in Europe.
