Cine Clube de Avanca

With over three decades of existence, the Cine Clube de Avanca is in charge of the production, distribution and exhibition of various motion pictures and audiovisual materials.

With nearly fifty movies and more than ninety international prizes, the CCA has been responsible for the production of animation, fiction and documentaries, constantly shown in various festivals over the 5 continents.
The CCA's animation production studio in Avanca is one of the best in Portugal, having produced the first major portuguese animation feature film.

Cine Clube de Avanca is also actively involved in fiction and documentary making. Developing an important work of itinerant cinematogrpahic exhibition, sponsoring workshops in the area and organizing since 1997 the  "International Meetings in Cinema, Television, Video and Multimedia", the CCA is currently building a new 1200 square meters space intended for future teaching and production of audiovisual contents.
